In a landmark move to democratize elite exam preparation, the Delhi government has unveiled a sweeping initiative to provide free, high-quality coaching to 2,200 meritorious students from government schools.
This ambitious program, under the Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Vidya Shakti Mission, promises to equip youth with the tools to conquer competitive exams like JEE, NEET, CLAT, CA, and CUET — traditionally dominated by privileged sections.
With a dedicated budget of ₹21 crore, the scheme emphatically champions meritocracy and inclusion, reserving special seats for girls across multiple courses to break gender barriers in competitive education.
Leading institutes such as Aakash, Narayana Academy, and KD Campus will deliver comprehensive classroom and online sessions, alongside study materials and weekend support, ensuring students don’t compromise on their regular academics.
Education Minister Ashish Sood hailed the initiative as a turning point, emphasizing that education transcends mere marks. “It is about mental wellness, dignity, and humanity,” he stated, underscoring the program’s holistic approach to nurturing talent and emotional resilience.
The mission also pioneers future-ready learning, integrating AI-enabled classrooms to create human-centric, equal-opportunity education environments.
The Vidya Shakti Mission aims to empower Delhi’s grassroots talent, safeguard students’ mental well-being, and unlock unprecedented academic potential — signaling a paradigm shift in public education’s role in shaping India’s future leaders.
